New Leaf help make a poorly child 'eggstatic' by collecting Easter Eggs for local hospital.

Dudley-based kitchen, bedroom and bathroom specialist New Leaf Interiors are inviting people of all ages to their showroom this Easter to help with a brilliant cause.

Owner Jim Gill and the team have set themselves the challenge of filling one of their baths with Easter Eggs for the local Children’s Ward at Russells Hall Hospital, part of The Dudley Group of Hospitals. The event kicks of on Saturday 4th with the last egg being counted when the doors close on Saturday 18th April.

New Leaf’s 5,000 square foot showroom in Wellington Street hosts an impressive display of stylish kitchen and bathrooms sets and has ample parking space for visitors.

Founder and owner of 25 years Jim Gill has many reasons for wanting to do something to help his local Children’s Ward. His twin grandchildren were looked after in the hospital’s Special Care Unit after being born four weeks early and three of his other grandchildren entered the world on its Maternity Ward…with another expected any day now!

Jim said, “We like to keep busy in the showroom and we all thought that this would be a fun thing to do over Easter. We’d love to see lots of children coming in over the holidays with their parents or grandparents, but everyone is welcome - as long as they bring in an egg for the bath!

“The nursing team at Russells Hall have asked that we try to collect different kinds of eggs, including those suitable for children with special dietary requirements, such as diabetic chocolate eggs and ones that don’t contain nuts – so I hope we manage that as well.”
